Project: Whitehaven Coal - Refuelling AccessT

Services: As part of the ongoing development of Whitehaven’s facilities, Barker Ryan Stewart were engaged for haul road and re-fuelling area design.
Our services included:
- Constraints analysis.
- Coordinate geotechnical investigation of the loop road and refuelling area and pavement thickness design.
- Preparation of road and drainage design for the loop road serving the refuelling area.
- Preparation of design details for the tank supporting pad adjacent to the refuelling area.
- Preparation of plans detailing the designs, suitable for tender and construction purposes.
Blue Sky Mining

Services:
Located to the west of Sydney, the quarry is to operate and supply the Sydney market with quality clay products to make bricks and tiles. It is anticipated that the quarry will be up and running in 2008.
Barker Ryan Stewart were engaged to provide civil engineering advice and design a major rural intersection on Elizabeth Drive and an internal haul road, including a bridge and associated drainage works.
Dixon Sand Quarry

Dixon Sand quarry at Maroota has been operating since 1992 and is a major supplier of mortar sand to the Sydney Metropolitan market. Dixon Sand strives to produce the highest quality product, whilst maintaining best environmental practice.
Barker Ryan Stewart were engaged to design a major rural intersection on Old Northern Road and an internal haul road and associated works.
