Killcare Cellars Redevelopment

Barker Ryan Stewart is excited to be assisting Killcare Properties with the redevelopment of the centrally placed Killcare Cellars liquor and general store. Currently, under construction, the new Killcare Cellars building will be home to a brand new liquor & convenience store, an additional retail store and three two-storey residential units set to be holiday let.

Killcare Properties approached BRS after securing the development approval, looking for project managers that could coordinate approvals and oversee construction works in a way that limited impacts on the small but thriving business district of Killcare and Hardys Bay.

BRS project managers have worked with Killcare Properties to secure pre-construction authority approvals, tender construction and are now providing construction superintendency and client-side project management services. The works are moving along on schedule and under budget, despite unforeseen circumstances, most notable of which was an unregistered underground petrol storage tank close to neighbouring structures. The tank was investigated, tested and decommissioned appropriately, without delaying key milestone dates. The opening of the shops is forecast for late early 2019. All three of the units will be delivered in a second stage, scheduled to open by June 2019.

Montebello Estate - BRS

Montebello Estate

Montebello Estate is a residential land subdivision located at Schofields Farm Road, Schofield and is comprised of various sized 38 lots. The site is located close to; public schools, shopping precincts and local train stations. Not only does this extensive subdivision offer great community conveniences at its doorstep, its location is situated in a spot that offers magnificent views of the Blue Mountains.

Barker Ryan Stewart was engaged by Westclaire Property Group for the services of using an experienced consultant to progress the design to construction certificate stage, undertake contractor tendering and procurement, construction supervision, contract and project management of the development.

Mt Irvine and Bowens Creek Road Survey BRS

Mt Irvine and Bowen Creek Road

Barker Ryan Stewart was engaged by Hawkesbury City Council to come up with a concept fire trail design in order to upgrade the dilapidated track along Mt Irvine and Bowen Creek Road between Mt Irvine and Bilpin in the Blue Mountains. The project involves significant survey and geotechnical work – in a somewhat challenging location, as well a concept bridge design and Heritage Assessment.

The existing Mt irvine and Bowen Road track used to be a public road, however it was decommissioned approximately five years ago because it had dilapidated significantly and become a safety risk. A couple of sections of the track have even collapsed into the valley as a result of land slip.

Should Hawkesbury City Council proceed to the construction stage, the trail will provide safe access for all emergency services through the area. The Mt Irvine and Bowen Road track is to be used by emergency services only and would not be open to residents.

St George House

St George House in Kogarah has been well frequented by our project management team since Westpac Group engaged BRS for client-side project management services for major refurbishments of the existing metro site, such as overseeing the upgrades of an on-site child care facility to increase the capacity from 40 to 75 children which underwent three stages of works including renovating 700 square metres of landscape / playground space. BRS was also involved in the initial stages of the upgrades to the Premier Street entrance and shading to the expansive glass atrium.

BRS Project Managers are now servicing Westpac Group to facilitate the refurbishment of over 50 existing bathrooms and provide a drying room facility for gym users and cyclists. BRS was engaged to take the project from design to completion. The refurbishments included upgrades to ceilings, joinery, replacement of fixtures and fittings, tile replacement and sustainability upgrades aimed at electricity and water usage, to bring the building up to current day standards.

Epoque Luxury Apartments

Epoque is a 5 storey luxury residential building of 8 apartments located at Point Frederick. The use of voids over the internal living spaces combined with double height windows will provide excellent internal amenity through an open plan living design that will optimise solar access and natural ventilation.

The client side project management services for Epoque is part of our ongoing relationship with Evergrow Group Pty Ltd to deliver multiple residential apartment developments across the Central Coast.

Town Hall House

Barker Ryan Stewart successfully project managed heritage restoration and building maintenance upgrades to this iconic Sydney building.

Working on behalf of Brookfield Johnson Controls and City of Sydney the project was delivered on-time and budget to meet the client requirements.

Cumberland Green Industrial Park

Cumberland Green Industrial Park Rydalmere – 6ha Industrial Park on Parramatta River Foreshore.

We assisted with the preparation of a Master Plan for development of residue land; project management of site remediation works and obtaining development approvals from Parramatta City Council.

Rudolf Steiner School

Central Coast Rudolf Steiner School began its journey in 1995, a mud brick cottage housed a kindergarten of eight children. Today the school has grown to 240 students set out on seven acres of rural land.

Barker Ryan Stewart were engaged by the school to provide Project Management Services for the School Hall fit-out.  The project was successfully delivered on-time and budget in accordance with the school’s requirements.

Habitat, Frederick Street

Barker Ryan Stewart are currently managing delivery of 4 townhouses at 41 Frederick Street, East Gosford.

Our role has included initial design advice and assistance with obtaining development consent, through to project management of construction.  The PM role included procurement, contract administration and contract management.

Pitt Street, Sydney

On behalf of Brookfield Johnson controls and the City of Sydney, Barker Ryan Stewart project managed the internal strip-out and fit-out of multiple levels within buildings located at 307 and 309 Pitt Street Sydney.

The PM role included procurement, contract administration and contract management.

Deux Residences

Deux is a quality dual occupancy development located at East Gosford being project managed from the initial feasibility stage through to design development and construction.

The client side project management services for Deux is part of our ongoing relationship with Evergrow Group to deliver multiple residential apartment developments across the Central Coast.

Kogarah Child Care Centre

Westpac has undertaken substantial building upgrades to St George House located at Kogarah to accommodate approximately 1,200 staff.

Barker Ryan Stewart is providing project management services for the expansion of a child care centre within the building to provide on-site child minding services for staff.

The centre’s capacity will increase from 40 to 75 children. The refurbishment will undergo 3 stages of works, including renovating 700 square metres of landscape / playground space. During construction, operation of the centre must remain constant.

Main Road 301 Clarence Town Road Upgrade

Working on behalf of Dungog Shire Council, we provided project management services for investigation, design and construction of approximately 10km of Clarence Town Road.

The upgrades were completed as part of State Government funding for road reconstruction, rehabilitation and safety improvements.

Barker Ryan Stewart successfully delivered the projects on time and to budget.

Town Hall Administration Building

The City of Sydney required internal fit-out and refurbishment of multiple floors in their main administration building to meet changing staff and customer service requirements.

Barker Ryan Stewart project managed the internal fit-out and assisted with the staff relocation to enable continuity of service with minimal disruption to business as usual.
