Project: Consulting services to Local Government

Clients: We are presently providing town planning, traffic and engineering services to Cessnock City Council, Hawkesbury City Council, City of Sydney and Gosford City Council. Recently we have also provided services to Port Stephens Council, Singleton City Council, Newcastle City Council and Dungog Shire Council.

Barker Ryan Stewart are listed on the preferred tender lists for City of Ryde, Blue Mountains City Council, Liverpool City Council, Hornsby Shire Council and Wingecarribee Shire Council.

We are also listed on the Local Government Procurement preferred consultant suppliers list (see www.lgp.org.au). This enables Council’s to utilise our services and satisfy their probity requirements up to a value of $500,000.00 per annum without the need to have an open tender.

Client: World Youth Day Coordination Authority

Services: Assessment of applications for various World Youth Day events and for temporary student accommodation.

Roles included preparation of application for lighting of Sydney Harbour Bridge with World Youth Day images and coordination of events at Sydney Opera House forecourt.

  • DA & CC documentation for 47 multi-unit dwellings and heritage building at 736 Victoria Road Ermington – formerly known as Riverview Nursery.
  • Accredited Certifier Services (Construction Certificate, Compliance Certificate and Subdivision Certificate) for 120 Lot Residential Subdivision, Sirius Road, Voyager Point.
  • Preliminary Stormwater Investigations for 62 lot subdivision, Withers Road, Kellyville.

Project: Skyville Festival Review

Client: Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water

Services: Assessment of the REF documentation and comment on the ten issues raised in the brief, as well as any other relevant issues identified during the assessment. Comment on appropriate conditions that may be applicable if the proposal is approved. Comment on options for monitoring and auditing of transport impacts of the proposal. Preparation of a report detailing the outcomes of the review and responses to the issues raised in the brief.
